Our Principal and Founder
Jason C. Knapp, President
Financial Strategist and Asset Manager
At age 36, Jason is a veteran in the alternative investment space. Before starting AIS, Jason spent a decade helping to build an energy producer into a titan. From 2010 to 2020, Jason served as the company’s land manager, president and chief compliance officer of its captive broker dealer, due diligence manager and regional capital raiser, and finally as its principal financial officer. During his 10 year tenure, Jason helped increase the production company’s managed assets from $22 million to over $500 million.
Since starting AIS, Jason has helped over 100 clients achieve their financial goals. Jason currently holds Series 7, 24, 39, 52, 63, 65, 79, life insurance, and annuities licenses.
Jason is a 2010 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where he earned his B.A. in philosophy. Jason is also a Master of Public Policy and Management candidate at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA).
Jason serves his community in various roles including as the elected constable for downtown Pittsburgh.

As our client services manager, Cassia Minich (pronounced kah-SEE-ah MIN-ick) oversees the effort. Cassia is Jason’s right hand when it comes to ensuring our clients’ and partners’ needs are met.
